Ahead of the Toronto Film Festival, indie filmmaker Sarah Adina Smith has been snapped up by top talent agency WME.

The American director's latest feature Buster's Mal Heart is set to debut at the A-list event and tells the story of a man struggling to maintain his sanity. The project is already creating a lot of buzz and comes after the critical success of her last film The Midnight Swim, which earned her a Breakthrough Audience Award at 2014's AFI Festival.
